As a visual artist, in recent years I have worked with photographic stagings and installations that explored the importance and function of the landscape in our lives. I have long been fascinated by how the concept of landscape has developed over time and how it affects the way we see and feel about a place. The themes and problems surrounding the influence of places have always made me curious and wondering about partly my own role in the story of a place, but also about how our view of our surroundings characterizes our stance towards the garden and the landscape as a place in our local environment.

During this year's Höstljus 2024, I present two new installations based on my daily walks to my studio where I ask myself: What stories and what physical places remain in a changing urban urban landscape? How is our landscape narrative affected when the climate changes with storms or when human machines can change a place in an instant? What perspectives do I have when I bear witness to all the changes and transformations of the landscape?

I want to say a big thank you to Rebecca Sharp for all her help with this big project without you they would never have gone ahead. Thanks also to Moa Krestesen and Umeå Municipality for the opportunity to realize this work.
